Charles Dickens classic holiday story sparkles with humor and fantasy in the hands of the always hilarious Muppets. Michael Caine stars as the penny-pinching Ebenezer Scrooge with a masterly played first-rate performance. Kermit (the frog) plays the suffering and poorly paid administrative employee of Scrooge, Mr. Chratchet, and Miss Piggy stars as Mrs. Chratchet. This enjoyable family film is complete with original music and dazzling special effects, but most of all amplifies the true meaning of Christmas and the importance of charity.
