This premium dramatic film derived from the Old Testament contains excellent character development and solid story about the story of Esther. British actress Louise Lombard plays the role of Esther, the young Jewish woman in the king’s court who is chosen to be queen. She is now in the position where she must benevolently perform a delicate balancing act between the ruling Persians and her own Jewish people. Esther must use all her courage and integrity in an attempt to protect her people from Haman, the king’s chief minister, who wishes to use the Jewish community as a political scapegoat and commence with mass executions. The character “Esther” with her faith and bravery can be perceived as an admirable and inspirational role model for many who watch this film.
