This excellent family movie entertains and brings hope to two difficult situations.  A discouraged professional baseball team prays for a chance to become competitive and a young boy, Roger, who has no real home is also a devoted fan of this same team. Roger who has lost his mother is living separated from his father. As he and his friend J.P. are big fans of this Los Angeles baseball team he therefore has got only two dreams: Living together with a real family and may LA finally have a winning season. As Roger is praying for these two things to happen from heaven some angels show up in order to assist in the team situation- but he is the only one to see them and believe in them. His faith eventually becomes contageous and miracles begin to happen. 

This fine film is a remake from the 1951 classic and  recommended for the whole family.
